Insect farming has the potential to provide a nutritious and low carbon source of protein that could revolutionize agriculture and help feed the world – all while helping tackle food waste. But far more research is needed to understand and uncover the potential of insects such as the black soldier fly (BSF) in advancing our food system, with our universities and research institutions playing a pivotal role in shaping future legislation to ensure these opportunities are realised. That’s why we’ve developed, the Entoexplore® – a dedicated insect rearing unit for research purposes.
